JAMES VALLEY THRESHERS SHOW
|The Parade photo albums include photos of
all the parade entries for which photos were
available. Browse them to find your favorites,
your friends and family, or yourself. Parade
photos can all be supersized so you can get
a closeup view, and see all the details.
Threshermen's Park is home to a "village"
of buildings, including some vintage structures
that have been moved to the park from their
original locations: the Schoolhouse, Church,
Toy Chest, Cook Car, Gas Station, Feed Bin
and Blacksmith Shop. Other buildings were
built on the show grounds to serve specific
purposes, including the Sawmill, the Heritage
Crafts Building and Weavers Barn, the Johnson
Memorial Machine Building, the John Deere
Store, the Vintage Car Building, and several
buildings sponsored by some of our most active
and dedicated members.They all have their
own unique history and features, told and
illustrated beautifully in our 40th Anniversary Book
The Quilt Show, Craft and Weaving demonstrations
are some of our most popular features, so
be sure to see the albums and stories about
the outstanding quilts and displays in the
Heritage Crafts Building and Weavers Barn.
The threshing and plowing demonstrations
are not to be missed! To see these huge antique
steam engines, gas powered tractors, other
farm equipment hard at work on the Dakota
Prairie is exhilarating. The albums will
give you a taste of the adventure of seeing
