30TH ANNUAL J.I. CASE HERITAGE FOUNDATION
CASE EXPO
Host: James Valley Threshing Show
A main feature of the Expo was the exhibit of the 150 HP Case Project, Kory Anderson’s ongoing re-creation of the original early 1900’s 150 horsepower Case steam locomotive, as shown in the above illustration from the Case catalog files. Two grown men standing by the wheels illustrate the size of the 150 horsepower road locomotive.
A1/28 scale model 110 Case engine made from scratch by David Fie over a 6 year period was also on display. Due to health issues, David is turning it over to Kevin Anderson to complete. Work was in progress during the Show.
Case steam tractors and engines were on display throughout the show, along with other Case equipment, such as this Case gas tractor and Case wagon. All Case equipment is welcomed.
